During the school holidays some of our intermediate students participated in a workshop at Sydney Dance Company. Some of the classes included: Lyrical Jazz with Chanelle Johnson, Contemporary with Vanessa Sew Hoy, Theatre Jazz with Adam Williams & Jazz with Rhys Bodridge. The girls had a great time working with these talented choreographers.
Term 1 2010 was exciting and successful for all Dance NRG students. Senior performance students participated in a Hip Hop workshop with world renowned choreographer "Sho-Tyme". Sho-Tyme has choreographed for high profile artists such as Mary J Blige and P Diddy among many many others. The workshop was held at Caramell Studios in Camperdown. Well done girls! Dance NRG senior performance students participated in the Tabitha & Napolean Hip Hop workshop on 19th April. Tabitha & Napolean have been featured choreographers on both the American and Australian series of "So You Think You Can Dance". What a great class! Dance NRG senior performance students participated in a Jazz and Hip Hop workshop taken by Tony Czar. Tony Czar was out from L.A and held workshops all over Australia. He has choreographed for numerous Artists including Britney Spears. We were all looking forward to see what he brought with him and he did not disappoint!!
